.. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - Thursday, November 10, 2005 polar bear! ..this is the last of the shots from within the zoo, the next batch are from central park in general. really, really love the colours and low contrast and subdued light in this, makes for a gorgeous cohesive photo overall. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  log and pond and plants and things. really, really love this one, the detail in everything, as well as the composition and value range. happy. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  this, I really like.. closer-up on part of the pondlet in the previous shots. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  yet, I personally like the visual confusion that this has, and the value range that comes out. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  another case where I'm not sure if the coloured version is the better of the two or not, so you get both.. the colour's a lot easier to understand, anyway, and it's pretty. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  flower. ^_^ forget what these are called.. mom, feel free to comment, I'm sure you've told me before. ^^; - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  actually this wound up being a pretty well set-up shot.. though I'm posting it for amusement really. the monkey'd started walking out onto the rocks near where the ducks were..and the swans got pissy and came over to glare at him. it was pretty great. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  BABY DUCKLINGS!!! *dies all over at the cute* composition here's nice as well, I really love this one, with the mommy duck all keeping an eye on the babies and things. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  liiiizard. love how this came out, the light in there was low so I was lucky to get something this clear.. but the limited colours and rich lighting are awesome. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  monkey monkey. with pretty colours. like the overall colours in the shot as well. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  ok rather.. *this* was my favourite bird, with the prettiest colours ever. tried a million times but it kept moving too much, this's about the best I've got. some nice lines in this shot though anyway. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  apologies for the shortness of the last update, had forgotten to resize more pictures.. ^^; but now I've got more ram for my comp so dealing with programs is much happier yay. \0/ anyway.. trees and branches and vines and things in the bird-area. loove. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - Monday, November 07, 2005 this one is also amazing, though I hadn't realised just how good it would be when I took it. I was frustrated by how dingy the glass was, I knew the monkeys would look really great in black and white, but the window and the bar there kept getting in my way... finally, I took this, and-- well, as megs has pointed out, it looks like a photo of immigrants from a past century on ellis island. *giggles* not what was intended, but fair enough. I just love the aged look it wound up with, and the expression on their faces..there's a very strong emotion to this photo that I had no idea I was capturing. (yay happy accidents.) - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  this one...I really, really like. the tree seems to be glowing, and while that's probably a bit more blatant than I'd thought it would be when I took it..I really love the way this looks, all ethereal and things. (and now it's reminding me of "fern gully". loved that movie. ^^; ) - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - Sunday, November 06, 2005 and one more, just cos. it looks sogood. I love these shots. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  this one, I really, really like as well. it makes me feel dizzy a little, which is good. I'm amazed and sohappy that the bird and the vine it's on are so sharp, and the rest a little blurry. thinking about playing in photoshop and exaggerating that, it'd be good. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  mmk thank you program for being broken, let's try this one again: they moved a little much, so it was hard to get a clear shot. but they weren't remotely bothered by a chick with a camera crouching about three feet away from them... - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  this one, I really, really like as well. the limited colour palette is fantabulous. and the composition. and yay. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  trees and plants inside the bird area. it was really, really nice in there, I liked very much. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  these birds were officially the awesomest ever. on top of looking soverycool, they also hopped out of the landscape area and walked all over the person-pathway. it was quite fun. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  inside the bird-area. they were flying all over everywhere, and it was socool. forget what this one was, but I really loved the colours on it, he was all iridescent and things. and I like this a lot as a photo as well. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  a toucan perched inside its lil area.. I really, really love how this came out, toucans aren't really my thing but..but this looks good. yay. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  looove the contrast in the water on this one, the value range is fantabulous. <3 love. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..
