(never did keep the sun behind me when I took pictures..always wanted the lil sun spots.) this is stroke 9, who were the headliners at fredfest, though I was far less impressed with them than I had been other people (like tomorrow is forever), and left before their set was out. also all the drunk kids showed up for the final act so leaving was a good idea. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  blurred take on steele hall. this was done purposely, and came out just as I'd wanted it and it's sohappy. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  the bassist looked pretty (at least as far as I could see from the other side of things). poor lil guitarist dears, all neglected while the singer's attention-whoring. somehow I liked them. and I like this shot. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  this one got a nice blur. really not quite sure how I pulled this off, definitely didn't intend for it to be out of focus but...I really like it that way actually, this is one of my favourites now. and that flare from the light is fabulous. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  again the singer with the juliana theory. he was cute. they weren't as good live as I'd hoped (it's <3 tomorrow is forever <3 I should've taken pics of but oh well). but they were still quite good. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  taking good live pictures is hard. veryhard. this was my first time doing so with my digital camera, so I didn't know what sort of results to expect. (I am. ^^; ) - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  lights and things in steele hall, long-exposure - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  the following bunch were all taken at FredFest2005 - Fredonia's annual concert-day, when they bring in a bunch of bands, some local some not, and they play all day, and there's dinosaur bbq <3 and things to buy and it's superfun. only it pooouuured this year so it was held inside steele hall. ...I dragged tom with me and kept him there cos I wanted to stay most of the day, which's why there's lots of pics of him, heh. but most are good, like this one. ^_^ - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  branches lit by one of the lights around campus...blurry but still interesting, though it didn't quite capture what I saw - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..  stairs by reed in the dark.. they weren't actually red, but when I tried bring up brightness and contrast with the file, it gave me red'n'black stripes. so this's now the htdaab pic, heee. <3 - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - .. - ..
kk, haitus over. ^^;;;; it began with having frequent crashes and getting frustrated and just not wanting to deal with things, and then there was a week of staying with my tom and then a week of him staying with me and between everything..didn't quite get over here. back now. ^_^ moving back to college might mean a few days off here and there again, but nothing so long's that again. (hopefully. if I do, well.. poke me. and I'll get back here.)
