love the texture and layers of colors to this... close-up of an old, much-repainted, low railing beside the parking lot. (I promise the store is not actually grungy like this! I just have a predilection for old decaying little things, as I'm sure you're aware by now...)

I think out of your latest posting this is my personal fav. The Textures are magnificent, The Colours are well balanced, and the photo does not exactly reveal what was photographed. Ahh expressionists and impressionists would be proud if you were a painter ;-)
hehe, thanks! My painting skills aren't quite as developed as my photo skills, unfortunately, but.. I really love this photo as well. I chain my bike to part of this railing at work, so every time I go in, I'm looking at it and fascinated by all the layers of past colors. I think I captured it pretty well in this though, I'm tempted but don't feel a need to take more shots of it. :)
